What is Medication Packing?

A Medication Pack also called a dose administration aid or blister pack; can help you remember to take the right medicine at the right time.
 

It also:

• Helps manage your medicines better

• Reduces the risk of forgetting to take your medicine

• Reduces the risk of taking your medicine incorrectly

Mistakes with taking your medication could lead to serious health problems and even hospital admission. A Medication Pack can significantly reduce these risks.

Who should use a Medicine Pack?

Everyone can benefit from the use of a medication pack. However, we recommend these most to patients who are on multiple medications or are less and less able to properly manage their medication.

How do I get my medication in a pack?

The easiest way to do this is to come into Berwick Springs Pharmacy and ask our pharmacist. They will then conduct a review of all your medications and ensure that doses and times are optimal before packing them for you.
